These seven performances are presented by Swain County High Arts programs which include band, chous, etc. The musical, "Annie," first played on Broadway in 1976 and is based on the comic, "Little Orphan Annie," which came about in 1922. Walk down to the farm for a glimpse into the past. Self-guiding tour that are always avaible and some days you may find demonstrations such as blacksmiths, hearth cooking, gardening, or weaving taking place.
Top slalom paddlers compete in this American Classic on the Nantahala Falls course in preparation for the USA Canoe/Kayak Team Trials. Sponsored by the Nantahala Racing Club. More info
