Easton Corbin in Concert

When Easton broke on the scene in 2009 with two, No. 1 singles, "A Little More Country Than That" and "Roll With It," the country music world was put on notice. He became the first country male artist in 17 years to have his first two consecutive singles reach No. 1. Billboard named Easton the Top New Country Artist of 2010. More info

Little Big Town with Kacey Musgraves in Concert

Locust Honey String Band Concert & Open Jam

Where: Western Carolina University Mountain Heritage Center

7:00 - 8:00 pm - free concert. Followed by 8:00 - 9:00 pm open jam. Chloe, Ariel, and Meredith blend sweet harmonies with raging Old Time fiddle tunes to take "girl band" to a different level. Using various combinations of fiddle, banjo, guitar, and bass, Chloe, Ariel, and Meredith each contribute a different style to create music meant for dancing and listening. More info

Musical "Annie"

These seven performances are presented by Swain County High Arts programs which include band, chous, etc. The musical, "Annie," first played on Broadway in 1976 and is based on the comic, "Little Orphan Annie," which came about in 1922. General admission for all the performaces is $10 for adults and $5 for Senior Citizens, Students and Children, and for children under 12 is $3. www.swain.k12.nc.us/cfta ; Phone: (828)-488-7843

Mountain Farm

Walk down to the farm for a glimpse into the past. Self-guiding tour that are always avaible and some days you may find demonstrations such as blacksmiths, hearth cooking, gardening, or weaving taking place.

Fontana Classic Bass Tournament on Lake Fontana

Where: Fontana Village Resort and Marina, 300 Woods Rd., Fontana Dam, NC 28733

With the warmer than usual winter it will be time to wet a hook early for some championship bass action on Fontana Lake. This year's purse is is $5,000 with first place garnering $2,000 in prize money and $1,000 for 2nd place. Prize money will also be awarded for third through eight places and $100 each for the biggest small mouth and  large mouth bass. Fontana Village Marina will be hosting the event on their docks located at the west end of Fontana Lake.

Angelina Ballerina the Musical Live!

Easter Egg Hunt

The Isaacs in Concert

The Isaacs, a multi-award winning family group, began singing over 30 years ago and currently features vocalists Lily Isaacs, Ben Isaacs, Sonya Isaacs and Rebecca Isaacs Bowman. They perform frequently at the Grand Ole Opry, are active members on the Gaither Homecoming Concert Series and travel throughout the year internationally and across the United States, including a recent performance at Carnegie Hall which received a standing ovation. Cherokee Opening Day Trout Fishing Tournament

Where: Cherokee Indian Reservation

$5 entry fee and $10,000 in tagged fish in the rivers on the Cherokee Reservation (excluding the 2.2 miles of catch and release waters) Hundreds of specially tagged fish will be stocked in the Cherokee public fishing waters. When a tagged fish is caught it can be redeemed for cash prizes ranging from $20 to $500 based on the color of the tag. Redemption location and times to be announced. Open to all ages and for all legal fishing methods. Registration necessary to redeem cash prize. More info

Peanuts the Easter Beagle Express Train Event

The Great Smoky Mountains Railroad welcomes back The PEANUTS™ Easter Beagle Express! Trains will depart the historic Bryson City depot and travel along the Tuckasegee River into the quaint town of Dillsboro North Carolina for the 1 ½ hour layover.

Passengers will join Snoopy, Lucy, Charlie Brown and our Easter Bunnies for old fashioned Easter fun! Festivities include an on-going Easter egg hunt, crafts, coloring sheets, temporary tattoos, and snacks with Snoopy and more. More info

The Lovin' Spoonful in Concert

In early 1965 the Lovin' Spoonful began to record and perform some of the songs that would dominate the charts and establish them among the greats of the mid-sixties era. They gave us such hits as "Do You Believe in Magic," "Daydream," "You Didn't Have to be So Nice," "Nashville Cats" and "Summer in the City." In 2000, they were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame. More info
