Among the most celebrated choirs of all time, the choir has a repertoire that includes medieval, contemporary and experimental music. Founded in 1498 as a single choir, the organization now includes four choirs of 24 schoolboys been the ages of 10 and 14 and from Austria and neighboring European countries. Bardo Arts Center. Join Friends of the Smokies for a guided hike that explores the cultural history of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park form the days of the Cherokee and early European settlers to the work of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). Hiking enthusiast and author Danny Bernstein will lead this 4 mile hike along the Kephart Prong Trail, interpreting the remains of the CCC camp and a backcountry shelter. The hike is easy to moderate in difficulty and has a total elevation gain of 950ft. Hikers will also visit the nearby Oconaluftee Visitor Center, featuring interactive exhibits that tell the cultural history of life in the Smokies, and receive a Ranger-guided tour of the adjoining Mountain Farm Museum, a collection of historic log buildings gathered from throughout the Smoky Mountains and preserved on a single site.

Hikers should come prepared with food, water, and appropiate hiking gear for the all day excursion.

Hundreds of specially tagged fish will be stocked in the Cherokee public fishing waters. When a tagged fish is caught it can be redeemed for cash prizes ranging from $20 to $500 based on the color of the tag. Redemption location and times to be announced. Enjoy family fun at the Annual Easter Egg Hunt! Bring your basket to collect eggs full of yummy treats! Parents, don't forget to bring your camera for a picture with the Easter Bunny! The event is for ages 1-8, with ages groupings of the 1-2 year olds, 3-5 year olds and the 6-8 year olds.  *A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, April 1st, at 2:00 p.m.

Arguably the most famous trail system in the East, the course is fast and flowing with plenty of climbing, a classic mountain bike event. This year an individual time trial will spice up the action. Individual Time Trial for bonus points on Saturday at 4:00 pm. and the Cross Country race is Sunday.
