Hundreds of specially tagged fish will be stocked in the Cherokee public fishing waters. When a tagged fish is caught it can be redeemed for cash prizes ranging from $20 to $500 based on the color of the tag. Redemption location and times to be announced. Open to all ages and for all legal fishing methods. $5 entry. Registration necessary to redeem cash prize. More info
Enjoy family fun at the Annual Easter Egg Hunt! Bring your basket to collect eggs full of yummy treats! Parents, don't forget to bring your camera for a picture with the Easter Bunny! The event is for ages 1-8, with ages groupings of the 1-2 year olds, 3-5 year olds and the 6-8 year olds. *A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, April 1st, at 2:00 p.m.
Arguably the most famous trail system in the East, the course is fast and flowing with plenty of climbing, a classic mountain bike event. This year an individual time trial will spice up the action. Individual Time Trial for bonus points on Saturday at 4:00 pm. and the Cross Country race is Sunday.
