This week's featured artist is a local trio known for their great vocals and multi-instrumental play. You will find Frank Lee and Isaac Deal on a combination of instruments including the guitar and banjo and Bradley Adams ranges from the mandolin to guitar.

Ray Price is known as one of the legendary voices of American country music. As a singer, songwriter and guitarist, his wide-ranging baritone has often been praised as among the best male voices of country music. Price was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1996, but has long shown his genius in other genres as well. After 55 years in the business, Dr. Ralph Stanley is still one of the best banjo pickers and tenor singers in bluegrass music today. As a recording artist, he has performed on more than 170 albums, tapes, and CDs, performing many songs written by himself and with his brother, the late Carter Stanley. Ralph has played throughout the United States and in many countries around the world, including several tours of Japan. In addition to the many honors Ralph has received as a bluegrass musician, he also holds membership in the Grand Ole Opry.

The legendary fiddler, guitarist, and singer Charlie Daniels has been performing for half a century. The Wilmington, NC native has played and recorded with the likes of Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, The Marshall Tucker Band, Hank Williams, Jr., Leonard Cohen, Pete Seeger, and Ringo Starr. His song, "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," won Daniels a Grammy for the Best Country vocal performance in 1979, and for several generations of Southerners, his popular hits, "Long Haired Country Boy," and "The South's Gonna Do It Again," are anthems to regional pride. These family-oriented art shows feature a small number of artisans providing demonstrations of their work in an interactive environment. Visitors are invited to create their own art piece with instruction from the demonstrating artisans.  Art Samplers Artisan activities may include drum-making, thrown pottery, gourd painting, lampwork glass beads, jewelry making, weaving and more.
