On dates near a full moon, NOC takes riders on a moonlight mountaintop zip line tour.

  • Nantahala Outdoor Center Zip Line Adventure Park

A family-friendly activity, guests can choose their own challenge level and pace as they traverse the course thanks to NOC’s state-of-the-art auto-belay system.
  • Nantahala Outdoor Center Mountaintop Zip Line Tour

    It’s the Nantahala Gorge Premier Zip Line adventure! NOC’s expert aerial guides lead your group through two miles of spectacular mountain-to-mountain zip lines that take you above the treetops and into the open air. Absorb panoramic views of Fontana Lake and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park ask you fly for nearly a minute on the half-mile Mega Zip – 350 feet above the forest floor. For the ultimate unforgettable adventure – fly under the stars on NOC’s exclusive Moonlight Mountaintop Zip Line Tour, available select evenings close to a full moon.
  • Wildwater-Nantahala Gorge Canopy Tours

    The first Zipline Canopy in the Nantahala Gorge area of western North Carolina through the 20 acres of Falling Waters Adventure Resort. Thirteen zip sections and 8 bridges combine for over 1/2 mile of high flying fun on our newest adventure activity. Experience the excitement and beauty of "flying" through the air among the hemlocks and hardwoods of western North Carolina! Must be 10 years and up and 70 to 250 lbs. WIFI available to guests.
  • Wildwater-Kidzip Nantahala

    Wildwater was the first company in the US to build multiple zipline courses specifically for kids 4 & older and this is our 2nd one in Western NC! KidZip Nantahala offers ziplines and adventure park elements for kids 4-12 years old in a scenic wooded adventure setting. With a continuous cable and roller system there is no clipping and unclipping for participants, making it safe for any age to use. Featuring ground school training and practice, 3 zipline loops- beginner (4 zips), intermediate (5 zips) & advanced (4 zips), 8 climbing elements for entrances, exits & connections, and tree based platforms, ziplines & challenges. And with a 2-hour time block, you can zip and climb as many times as you want. Maximum weight 225 lbs.
