Smokies Life, previously known as Great Smoky Mountains Association, is a non-profit organization established in 1953 and authorized by Congress to support the park’s educational, scientific and historical programs through sales of merchandise, donations and volunteer efforts. Based at park headquarters in Gatlinburg, Smokies Life operates heritage centers in several park gateway communities. The centers offer Smokies merchandise, books on natural history, and historical information on the park.

We are a full-service fitness center with 24/7 access for our members. Daily and weekly passes are available during desk hours for visitors. We are a certified Silver Sneakers, Silver & Fit, Fit On, and Renew Active facility. We have a variety of cardio and weight machines along with a free weight room. Our locker rooms have showers and dry saunas with towels provided.  Our front desk hours are Monday through Thursday 9am-7pm, Friday 9am-4pm, and Saturday 9am-12pm. We host weddings here year round at Harmony Hall located creek side on our 80 acre grounds. The Hall has indoor seating for up to 60, however many weddings expand to the meadow outdoors for larger events of 100 plus. There are 19 cabins in a variety of sizes and settings with individual sleeping arrangements of 2-14 depending on cabin with a total sleeping capacity of up to 120 plus.
